This was an unusual finding up at Whale Point. A striped racer (Masticophis lateralis) had a hold of this fence lizard (Sceloperus occidentalis). The lizard was alive and it seemed to be a stalemate. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to wait around long enough to see the end result. What do you think happened?
